We believe young people hold untapped potential to not only question unfair practices around them but also become the very catalysts for change to ensure that every girl has equal access to opportunities

Learning meets action in our dynamic program. Here's our methodology:

Blended Gender Sensitization Modules

Say goodbye to dull lectures! Our innovative blended learning modules take a fresh and interactive approach. We bring to life the journey of ‘Anandi’, mirroring the hurdles faced by many girls as they journey into womanhood. The modules will allow learners to put themselves in Anandi’s shoes, and imbue a sense of empathy. Combined with interactive activities, community engagement and guided reflections the students will cultivate an action oriented mindset.

Social Action Plans

We're not just about learning; we're about making a difference. Our project will actively nudge students in crafting social action plans to tackle changes they learnt about. We will connect them with mentors and experts that will provide guidance and mentorship, empowering them to develop contextually rooted and impactful social action plans.

About Us

USAID's MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership: India-Yash has launched the 'Enhancing the Value of Girl Child' project, an intervention that aims to address regressive gender norms and support the rights of women and girls. By engaging colleges and vocational institutions through collaboration and partnership, the intervention seeks to create a system of processes that will cause a change to ensure healthy lives and promote the well-being of all girls.

The MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership: India-Yash project is led by Jhpiego, a Johns Hopkins University affiliate and partners. Enhancing the Value of Girl Child is being implemented with Vihara Innovation Network.
